Septic Maintenance Program
Much like changing the oil to extend the life of your car, a sewage system needs proper maintenance. A neglected system can fail, leading to expensive repairs or possibly replacement.

Upon sale of your property, your system must meet your current state and township requirements, often leading to repairs or a complete replacement--up to $30,000.

With maintenance, you will get the full life-expectancy of your sewage system. PreDoC specializes in the repair & maintenance of on-lot sewage disposal systems.

Our septic maintenance programs are offered to individual home owners, builders and developers, homeowner associations, municipal authorities, industrial plants, restaurant owners, and office campuses.

We will customize a program for each site to ensure a complete and thorough service for your individual requirements. Additionally, for complete peace of mind, ask us about a sewage system insurance package.

Repair & maintenance services offered include site investigation and remediation, system inspections, pressure cleaning and jetting services for sewer laterals/rain drains, video recorded results to insure a complete and thorough cleaning, tank pumping and baffle inspection/repair, baffle repairs/lid replacement, clean out and damaged line repairs, location of tanks' distribution boxes and drain fields, filter cleaning and replacement, realignment of distribution boxes, blower motors, pumps/controls, solenoid valves, alarm systems, sump pumps, all aerobic units, riser extensions, electrical rewiring, float replacements.

1.
The largest contributor to malfunctioning on lot sewer systems today is improper operation and maintenance.
2.
Urban residents moving to rural communities where no public sewer is available do not understand what needs to be done to properly maintain their on lot system.
3.
Municipalities should implement a septic management program in order to educate and set maintenance guidelines for its residents.
4.
Septic tank pumping should take place on a two to three year cycle. This will insure proper treatment in the tank and keep suspended solids from reaching the drain field.
5.
Periodic inspections of the system will prevent minor problems from turning into malfunctions.
6.
Tanks should be checked for scum layer and solids buildups. The tanks should also have their inlet and outlet baffle checked. A broken baffle will lead to solids leaving the tank and clogging the drain field.
7.
Pumps alarms, floats and electrical connections should be examined on a one to two year cycle to insure proper working conditions.
8.
Drain field should also be inspected at this time as early detection of hydraulic overload could save homeowners thousands of dollars in repairs.
9.
Systems utilizing spray irrigation should have the piping and discharge heads checked for leaks and proper operation.
10.
Small diameter pressure dosed systems need cleaning about once every two years. The small diameter holes tend to clog easily and will lead to burned out pumps and or sewage surfacing.
Take care of our planet well, as our parents did not leave it to us, but our children have lent it to us.
